A very good friend sent me, the advice below:
You might not be able to control your circumstances/environment/
You cannot change other people's behaviour or personalities, but you can control how you relate to them.
- Recognise that people are what and who they are, try not to judge them for it.
- Recognise what you can change, and change it.
- Recognise what you can't change, and accept it.
- Recognise what is in the past, and let it go.
- Recognise the voice of your own body, and listen to it. Use it as an early-warning system for when you need to take control of your emotions.
And never forget to
LIVE EVERY MOMENT WITH:
- Non-striving
- Non-judgement
- Acceptance
- Letting go
- Patience
- Curiosity
- Trust
And don't forget to breathe!
