YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR RESPONSES TO IT

A very good friend sent me, the advice below: 

You might not be able to control your circumstances/environment/situation, but you can control your responses to it.


You cannot change other people's behaviour or personalities, but you can control how you relate to them.


  • Recognise that people are what and who they are, try not to judge them for it.
  • Recognise what you can change, and change it.
  • Recognise what you can't change, and accept it.
  • Recognise what is in the past, and let it go.
  • Recognise the voice of your own body, and listen to it. Use it as an early-warning system for when you need to take control of your emotions.


And never forget to


LIVE EVERY MOMENT WITH:

  • Non-striving
  • Non-judgement
  • Acceptance
  • Letting go
  • Patience
  • Curiosity
  • Trust


And don't forget to breathe!
